Dear Gijeong Lee,
Congratulations, in recognition of your demonstrated
academic excellence you have been selected to receive an International Tuition
Scholarship at the University of Arizona! You have been awarded a scholarship in
the amount of $8000 per academic year, beginning in Fall
2019.
The terms and conditions to receive your scholarship are
as follows:
- You must be an undergraduate student.
- Once you are admitted, you must pay the $395 Enrollment Fee by May 1,
2019.
- You must complete a minimum of 30 units at the University of Arizona each
academic year.
- You must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or
higher.
- This award will be distributed after you have enrolled in full-time (12 or
more UA units) coursework for the fall or spring, with half the scholarship
amount allocated to each term.
- If you meet the renewal criteria each year, the award can be utilized for a
maximum of 4 years (eight consecutive semesters) of attendance or until your
first bachelor’s degree program is completed, whichever occurs first.
- This award cannot be applied to summer session or winter intersession
courses or be used to pay the enrollment fee.
- This award is for non-resident tuition only. If you become a resident of
Arizona, your scholarship will be adjusted to cover a proportional amount of
resident tuition.
- If you receive multiple scholarships from the University of Arizona, the
higher valued award will apply.
- The amount offered cannot be increased to match offers from other
institutions.
You may submit new test scores by May 1, 2019 to be
automatically re-evaluated for a higher level award.
You will be
required to attend a mandatory meeting for scholarship recipients during
International Student Orientation. The meeting will provide important, detailed
information regarding your tuition award and renewal.
